Elaine Jermy is one of Canada’s first Professional Organizers and a founder of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC). In 1998, Elaine’s natural ability to “create order out of chaos” led her to establish Organized Evolution, a Hamilton-based office organizing company. Over the years, the company expanded into residential organizing services, relocated to Burlington and was renamed Organized Solutions Inc.
Elaine is a graduate of McMaster University (BA Honours, English) with a background in office administration and management. Her academic accomplishments include industry training, Records Management and Design Principles & Interior Decorating.
In her spare time, Elaine is focused on personal growth and developing new habits. She enjoys daily routines of exercising, spending time in nature, and prayer and meditation.
Barbara Hall

Professional Organizer & Marketing Lead
As a former commuting “hockey mom” with two sons, Barbara has practical experience with family time management, organizing her own home and helping her parents to downsize. After more than 25 years in senior marketing and operations roles in the tech sector, she made a career move to focus on her passion of helping others get more organized in their lives by joining Organized Solutions as a Professional Organizer & Marketing Lead in 2024.
She is currently pursuing her Trained Professional Organizer (TPO) status through Professional Organizers in Canada. She holds a Master’s degree in Local Economic Development from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Wilfrid Laurier University.
When she’s not organizing, Barbara enjoys gardening, catching up with friends, as well as exploring nature trails with her husband and family. Practicing yoga keeps her balanced and she excels at crossword games while relaxing.

Our team of skilled problem-solvers has a passion for developing customized systems to help people to improve their lives and habits. We are parents and entrepreneurs – mostly in the “sandwich generation” – who have experience balancing the demands of caring for children and aging parents while working and managing a household. In addition to helping with the challenging transitions of moving and downsizing, we help busy parents to manage children’s school/extracurricular activities, household responsibilities and self-care. Team members possess a variety of professional experience including home staging, senior care, executive positions, and office administration and management.

We believe in giving back to the community, protecting the environment and serving others. Client donations are distributed to the most suitable local charities including Compassion Society, Habitat for Humanity, Rescued and Restored and Salvation Army.
We have volunteered with local organizations including Safetynet Children & Youth Charities, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, Compassion Society and City Kidz.

We are an eco-friendly company, practicing and teaching the 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We encourage our clients to accumulate less, buy reusable, repurpose/donate unwanted items, and always properly dispose of waste. When it comes to being environmentally friendly, truly less is more!
Many items in your home can be dangerous to your health and the environment. We will safely dispose of medication at a local pharmacy, and take small loads of household hazardous waste such as vitamins, toiletries, cleaners and paint to your community recycling centre. Removal of bulk waste and e-waste will be handled by our junk removal team.
